Our Story

Here at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Vegetables, we’re committed to working towards a world free from cruelty to all vegetables, regardless of their type, colour or size. We began our journey in 2021, as it became clear to us that this is something people genuinely care about. Our founders previously identified themselves as 'vegan', and in conversations with people surrounding this topic it was something that people consistently brought up. 'What about plants though?' people would say, 'they're alive, don't they have feelings too?'. Well we're here to say, we listened, we hear you, and this is why we've founded the RSPCV.
